There are plenty of fitness exercises that trainers promote, but not all of these exercises are the best exercises for you to lose belly fat. You need to make sure that your exercise are targeted, and that you are doing them using the proper techniques. Only then can you be sure of losing some tummy fat, and reducing your waist measurements.

Many personal trainers have their own favourite exercises for losing tummy fat , and they rave over interval training as a necessary measure to reduce fat and live well. What is this? Consider this jogging workout. Interval training involves jogging for 5 minutes, say, then you jog faster for one minute, jog for another 5, run for one, and so on. This changes your metabolism, and gets your body to burn more fat each time you increase your speed.

Squats are also good fat burning exercises, because they use several muscles at a time. The more muscles you can use at any one time, the more fat you will burn. Try doing some squats, and you will soon be able to identify the muscles you are using!

Another exercise is the stomach vacuum, even though it doesn’t use very many muscles, it does target your stomach. You can be standing or sitting, and you just suck in your stomach as much as you can, and hold those muscles tight. Because you can do this exercise at any time anywhere you choose, you can repeat it often throughout the day and it is an effective one to strengthen your stomach muscles, and get them used to being pulled in.

Targeted fat burning exercises are not all you need to do, you also need to be aware of what you eat by trying to make all your food intake healthy ones. Eat plenty of vegetables and fruits, eliminate the refined foods as much as possible, foods like flour and sugar, and make sure you have some protein with each meal, so some fish, or meat, or a little low fat cheese. There are a lot of options, and of course you need to reduce the quantity you consume over the course of each day. Divide this food out over 5 or 6 snacks and meals, with the total food eaten being less than you normally eat.

By eating every few hours, your body never gets really hungry, and it will be able to digest the food more easily, turning it into energy for you to use quicker than if you have a very full stomach.

So, to summarize, include interval training in your workouts to lose fat through exercise , while you eat a healthy diet, with plenty of fruits and vegetables, but have smaller portions regularly throughout your day rather than in big meals. Do this and, your body will start to lose its fat, and your stomach will get flatter, just as you’d hoped!

What you may not know is that having the right weight loss motivation is actually what can take you further than the right plan or the right amount of will power. Do it for the right reasons and you are more likely to succeed with your plans. If you are getting your weight loss motivation from the wrong place, you are not going to get very far. You have to know that you are doing it for yourself and yourself only. If you feel crummy all of the time, you probably know that extra weight can drain you of energy and make you very tired.  In fact, just taking off ten percent of what you weigh can help you avoid some medical problems. Other weight loss motivation may come from things like wanting to fit into a dress for special occasion, or because pictures from such an occasion proved to be embarrassing.
