For girls, guys with six pack abs are definitely sexy. Especially when seeing that sexy body by the beach or in a gym, these perfect abs are something that will surely catch everybody’s attention in a snap.
Guys who are able to attain the perfect six pack abs should certainly be confident about it. Although achieving those perfect abs requires lots of efforts and patience, it is best to attain them through a natural means that doctors, nutritionist and fitness experts would also recommend.
The natural way that we are trying to emphasize is through proper food intake and regular abdominal exercises. The opposite of those which are considered to be the “not so safe” remedies would be through injecting steroids, taking diet pills and undergoing liposuction procedures in order to achieve that perfect abs shape. Although those methods are simpler and faster, most of them have not been proven safe and are accompanied with many side effects. On the other hand, its always best to choose the most natural way of attaining washboard abs, through proper food intake and intensive exercises.
Having enough and a proper knowledge of what nutrients you will need best so as to achieve those six pack abs is necessary. Aside from that, you should also need to eliminate even the thinnest layer of fat on your stomach area so that those abdominal muscles can be seen. It is also important that in order to get rid of those unwanted fats, you should also lessen your food intake in general.
Together with having a proper diet, regular exercises including of course abdominal workouts, this would be the routine that you will need to achieve those six pack abs. Once your body is used to the intensity of your workouts, it’s better to add some new routines and add some repetitions. This will balance what your body can tolerate and the intensity of workouts that are needed in order to maintain its shape. This way, your body will exert just enough effort to get those muscles toned up, which results in the perfect shape that you want for your body.
Everything is possible for those who are willing to do their best, to work hard and wait long enough until they are able to finally achieve their dreams. It is possible to achieve those six pack abs, not by the means of liposuction or steroids, but in a more natural way that will require you to exert effort. This will definitely promise you better results. Those efforts that are considered to be the best include proper food intake, regular and proper exercise and having a healthy lifestyle in general. This is the best way for your body to get the six pack abs that you are dreaming of. This is also the safest and most effective way to not just have sexy abs, but also having a healthy sexy body overall, free from any negative effects that steroids, fat burning pills and beauty procedures can cause.

Having a six pack stomach is hardly unachievable. For the muscles on your stomach to become visible, you will need to remove the layer of fat over them. In order to do this, you will have to adopt a healthier diet that ensures that you don’t gain any more weight. Amongst the list of foods to stay away from are the usual suspects—meals made out of white flower, chocolates and all those bottles of soda.
You will also need to embark on an effective workout program that will enhance your abdominal muscles.
Your selection in workout routine is very important. You should ensure that your workout program maximizes the results of your sessions. All your main stomach muscles should be exercised. You will find that, with a good workout, your six pack will soon begin to blossom.

There are various techniques that can be employed in a workout for six pack abs. However, of even more importance is their inclusion of a warm up and cool down habit .
The importance of including Warming and Cooling down sessions
Warming up: Your body has feelings. Jolting it into activity is possible, but it also is not healthy. Before you begin your workouts, you should therefore take some time to warm up. Warm ups are aimed at getting an increased blood flow throughout your body .
This results in several things:
- One of these is that your muscles become less prone to becoming exhausted or cramped during a workout session.
- Another is that you slowly accelerate your heart into the right speed.
Most warm up sessions average 10 minutes.
For more information on gaining the desired set of abs visit : click here
Cooling Down: The workout routine you use has to also include an effective cooling down session. During a workout session your muscles gradually gain lactic acid. This is why they begin to ache after a while.
This acid is removed throughout a cool down session. Leaving it in place, can result in cramps or stiffness developing. Cooling down also allows your heart to slowly decelerate and get back to normal speed. Imagine driving on the highway and then unexpectedly slamming on your brakes. Well failing to cool down after a workout routine is a lot like that.

It takes more than just wishful thinking (and even voodoo magic) to do the most effective ways to get abs. You definitely need to watch what you eat and exercise for a flat stomach. What you probably don’t realize is that it isn’t as difficult as you think.
You’re reminded everyday of the flat stomach you don’t have, and that annoys you, I’m sure. You’ve got fit models wearing close to nothing, infomercials and print ads that claim they have the answer, and people at the workplace who practically show off their buffed bodies for all to see. It’s really hard not to feel overwhelmed at times.
You can now stop pining over them because that flat sexy tummy is truly just a few clicks away. When you exercise for a flat stomach, you need to carry out targeted workouts. In order to get fantastic results, you have to go to the source – that flabby midsection of yours.
The best ab workout routines listed below should get you pumped and ready for more:
- Crunches
- Stomach Curls
- Knee to Chest Stretch
- Bicycles
Try doing these 4 times a week at 3 sets of each, 10-25 reps for every set, and you’ll definitely work that stomach hard.
The next step to an effective fitness program is to do full body exercises. You can definitely get more from your targeted abs workouts if you incorporate a solid cardiovascular routine. Brisk walking, martial arts, running, dancing, and swimming are just a few good examples.
You can perform these exercises in between the days you’ve scheduled your targeted abs workouts. Putting in 40-60 minuets of cardio 3-4 times a week can prove to be very beneficial. Don’t get ahead of yourself by being careless; push yourself to work out hard, but don’t overdo it.
To reinforce your exercise for a flat stomach, you need to adapt to a proper diet. Quick tip: if you usually find yourself nibbling at a particular time of day, like in the late afternoon, try to get in some exercise an hour before. That way, you don’t feel as guilty because your metabolism is actually working on overtime even after you’ve exercised.
If you think about it, healthy eating directly affects how you look. What’s the truth about abs: the hard work you invest to get six pack abs would all be just a waste if you don’t eat the right foods. A regular exercise plan can only be maximized with the implementation of a good diet plan, keep that in mind.
I won’t lie, there is a science to it. But you don’t have to be a doctor to tell the difference between healthy and unhealthy food. Brush up on your macronutrients and explore the fresh produce aisles at the supermarket.
Implement these three simple guidelines and say goodbye to flat stomach envy. Eat right and exercise for a flat stomach now!

When you come across the words “exercises for abs,” you probably have these two words in mind: sit ups. I’m actually not surprised because sit ups are one of the most, if not the most, common forms of abdominal exercises out there. I wouldn’t be surprised if my grandmother knew what they were.
Nevertheless, you need to recognize that there are other more effective ways to get abs than just sit ups. You need to mix them up, add some variety, and do them on a regular basis for you to get fast results.
For a successful overall fitness plan, combine abdominal exercises with a healthy diet plan and a full body workout. If you work hard at keeping these three elements alive in your daily routine, you simply can’t go wrong.
Truth about abs: according to a previous study, bicycles, weighted sit ups, fully body crunches, and ball crunches are the 4 most effective exercises for abs. Here’s why:
1. Bicycles. These exercises work not only your upper, lower, and side abdominals, but also other muscle groups such as the arms, lower back, and legs. To start, simply lie down on the ground and place your hands on the sides of your head. Bend your knees and begin alternating cycling movements with your legs. When your left knee comes up, lift your torso off the floor, twist to the left, and touch it with your right elbow. Repeat on the other side.
2. Weighted Sit Ups. With these exercises for abs, your abdominal muscles get pushed a little further through resistance training. They’re very similar to regular sit ups so they’re not complicated to do at all. All you need for this exercise are light to moderately heavy weight simulators, like a pair of 1 lb. dumbbells or a hardbound book, which you will need to hold over your chest with your hands. Proceed by lifting your torso upward, holding it there for a few seconds, and coming back down, just like with regular sit ups.
3. Full Body Crunches. Like bicycles, this exercise targets almost the entire abdominal area and works your limbs as well. To begin, simply lie down, place your hands across your chest, and bend at the knees. Lift your torso up the floor and pull in both knees at the same time. Lie back down and start again.
4. Ball Crunches. Compared to regular floor crunches, ball crunches promote balance and work your core in its entirety. It’s very simple yet challenging, and I guess that’s the beauty of it. To start off, sit on an exercise ball. Roll the ball underneath until your back is resting on it and your thighs are parallel to the floor. Begin doing crunches as you would on a flat surface. The ball’s just there to provide lower back support and make it a little more challenging.
By including these in your training program , you can now build nice abs in a month and say goodbye to your love handles.

It might not seem fair, you have put your time in and worked on those abs as much as others at your, and you’re doing lots of repetitions, so why can’t you see your abs? It can be extremely annoying, that is for sure, and it seems so unfair that others have the perfect abs while yours are still no where to be seen. Why don’t your abs show, and what can you do about it?
Well to begin with, you have to realize that everyone is different, we consume different amounts of foods and drinks of differing types, and our body’s process it differently. That’s why we have all shapes and sizes of people, even in the same household.
Then, you need to be certain that you are actually doing all the exercises the right way. Speed is not a factor here, and you should not be trying to win the medal for the most crunches in one minute. You need to be certain you are accurately targeting the abs – if you aren’t, you’ll never get a six pack. So slow your crunches down, and make sure it is actually your abdominals doing the work. If not, correct your method, and pay close attention as you do them in the future to make sure you don’t slip back into bad habits.
Next, while you are at the gym, see what your body fat ratio is. It should be in the low teens, ideally around twelve. Anything higher will explain why your abdominals are not looking ripped. The body fat ratio tells you the amount of fat that your body has. The higher the number the more fat your body has, and the more fat, the harder it is for those abdominal muscles to stand out from under those layers of fat. That makes sense, right?
Ok, so if your body fat ration is too high, what it is telling you is that you have to lose some of those fat layers. For this to happen, you need to do more than crunches and abdominal exercises. You need to do some cardio exercises too, and watch what you eat. Perhaps you need to eat less and run more. You know what I mean. Once you lose a few pounds, your abdominals muscles will be able to stand out more, and in time, as your body fat ration gets to the ideal level, your ripped abs will be showing good and strong, and you will no longer have to be concerned about where your
ripped abs are, as they will be there for all to see.

People always come to me and ask: “how will I truly build abs fast?” Sometimes, these people tell me they find it difficult to get the fantastic outcome in such a short period. But guess what? Having the proper tool for your abs programwill make it easier.
I must confess though, truth about six pack abs: it needs a lot of HARD WORK and positive attitude. Yet, this is not enough. All your work will be put in vain if you don’t do the most effective exercise program. As I have observed these people who seek my advice, I noticed the similar mistakes they made in the process.
So, to help you avoid making the same mistakes, here are the 3 worst things you should NOT do:
1. Limiting yourself to ONE or TWO meals every day
According to John Alvino, you must consume at least 5-6 meals daily for an effective fat loss plan. Eating once or twice every day is not the best diet for tighten lower abs.
Getting a six pack fast needs right nutrition. What do you want to do after a tiring day at work? Don’t you want to regain your strength and refresh yourself? Just the same when you’re working your muscles. After a hard exercise, your muscles need to replenish their strength. If you don’t eat properly, you will you won’t help them recover. Eventually, this can lead to muscle loss and damage. In addition, you will also slow down your metabolism considerably.
The ultimate tactic for a successful six pack abs diet is taking in healthy meals at the right time. After your workouts, eat foods rich in protein. Another point, avoid fatty foods and bad carbs like fast foods, deep fried foods and baked goods.
2. Believing that CARDIO ALONE to get you ab muscles fast
CARDIOVASCULAR routine is BENEFICIAL. However, it is not enough. To build abs fast, you will need to perform various routines, not just ONE. Resistance training and weight lifting are some of the most efficient total body exercises that will form your muscles. Carrying out these exercises along with abs-specific workouts will have those abs ripped in no time. One significant reminder though, you should carry out these workouts on a regular basis at least 4 times a week, every other day. For your cardio option, do them during the days when you’re not doing your regular workouts.
3. Training to Failure
Some people would not even endure the pain of hard trainings. Yet, others think that over-training themselves will give them fantastic results sooner. Well, that’s a huge misunderstanding. Over-training won’t get you near sculpted abs. Why? Because you can get hurt in the process, physically and mentally. This will wear your muscles, and worst part is, tear them into pieces.
Keep in mind, your goal is to do an efficient workout. It won’t be efficient at all when you don’t perform it with accuracy. Over-training won’t give the topmost outcome simply because you won’t be able to perform each exercise in perfect form.
So start off with doing 5 reps for every set of workout then gradually increase your reps as you advance. This will give your muscles enough time to recover. Plus, it will also prepare your muscles for more intensified routines in the future.
Don’t make the same mistakes like those people. Following the most effective plan will pave your way to your fitness goal. Just follow a healthy diet, carry out your routines with accuracy and don’t ever believe that ONE drill will build abs fast. Now that you know one of the best ways to get abs, start doing it right away! Eventually, you’ll be happy with the results of your hard work and efforts.

Many diet plans promote low calorie meals for weight or fat loss, but I think that’s just misleading and unnecessary. Allow me to share with you 6 main reasons why your low calorie diet isn’t working, and how it can actually stand in the way of you getting six pack abs:
1. Low Calorie Intake May Cause Muscle Loss and a Decline in Your Metabolism.
At first, you’ll probably notice that you’re burning off extra fat at a really fast rate. But, after several weeks, you will soon discover that you’re losing muscle as well. Last time I checked, you need to build your muscles for you to get a no nonsense six pack abs, not lose them.
Aside from losing muscle mass, studies have shown that you also get a decrease in your metabolism when you purely stick to low calorie diets. When you’re losing muscle mass, your metabolism also decreases, making it even more hard for you to lose fat.
2. Low Calorie Diets Will Not Tone Your Body.
As your metabolic rate slows down during your low calorie diet, your body won’t start defining muscles. You might lose a few pounds of fat, that’s true, but it would prove to be really hard to get six pack abs at the rate you’re going. You’re actually shrinking into a smaller version of you instead of becoming leaner. Since you’re losing muscle mass, there’s just no muscle left to tone. Is that really your idea of being fit?
3. Low Calorie Programs Will Only Increase Your Appetite.
This part is probably the most challenging. Depriving yourself of sufficient calories will lead you to uncontrollable cravings. When you’re at your weakest point, you’ll start craving for delectably unhealthy food, and you destroy whatever you’ve worked hard for so far. History (and your own personal experiences, no doubt) will show that these tempting fatty, high-sugar foods could easily win the battle. When you give in to your cravings just as your metabolism plummets, all the fat you initially lost will just come right back.
4. Low Calorie Diets Can Even Cause Fat Storage.
Bottom line is that your body is aware of what it needs. It may not know what specific program you should be on, but it is completely aware of how it should run. The primary function of your body is its instinct to SURVIVE. When your calorie levels drop at an alarming rate, your body instinctively hangs on to whatever fat is left, causing your fat burning enzymes to slow down and making you resistant to burning any more fat.
5. Low Calorie Diets Don’t Provide You With Adequate Energy.
Consuming fewer calories than your body requires also means you’re not getting proper nutrition, and that usually leads to the decrease of energy levels. Don’t be surprised if you feel worn-out all the time. Think about how that will affect your workout performance – nothing short of futile, I’m sure.
When your body isn’t getting enough energy to effectively perform daily tasks and fitness routines, you’re practically keeping yourself from reaching your six pack abs goal. You won’t be able to perform your workouts well nor will you be able to intensify them. Don’t think for a second that you can still get six pack abs without engaging in high-intensity drills. This shows that you won’t be able to sculpt great abs in a month with just dieting alone.
6. It Could Leave You Looking Far Worse Than When You Began.
Are you still convinced that a low calorie diet can be carried out for a long period of time? Even if you could, that would just be totally irresponsible. The body requires much attention and care, and low calorie diets just won’t be enough. Don’t be surprised if you feel like a burnt out candle from here on out. You can’t possibly expect to get six pack abs that way, can you?
It’s clear that a low calorie diet is certainly not one of the best ways to get six pack abs. It’s detrimental for your overall health, it doesn’t do anything for muscle development, and it keeps your energy at a minimum. To get six pack abs, you need to follow a highly nutritional, well-balanced diet. Combine that with a regular fitness program and there’s really no stopping you.

In your mission to get washboard abs, you will hear a few myths that you need to ignore if you are going to finally get what you want.
The myth that you cannot exercise deep abdominal muscles unless you use a piece of equipment is false. Please do not spend any money on such useless machines, they are absolutely not necessary.
The next myth that we should focus on is that you should do hundreds of crunches to get washboard abs. Crunches provide a very low level of muscle stimulation and neglect many muscle fibers that are needed to build your abdominals.
Third, while it is true that you need to reduce your body fat to uncover your abdominals, starving yourself is not the greatest way to lose that fat. When your body doesn’t get energy from food, it takes energy from fat and muscles – so starvation diets are counterproductive.
The last myth is that it is possible that some pill can give you a flat stomach. Thousands of people have wasted thousands of dollars chasing such dreams – please don’t waste yours. If you eat right, get enough sleep, and workout well you will get the body you want.
We’ve talked about what to avoid, now we can talk about what you can do to get the abdominals you want.
There are many muscle building and/or fat loss programs that will help you lose your belly fat and build your abdominals. See these reviews for The Truth About Six Pack Abs and Craig Ballantyne’s program. There are many other programs around – if you think you need some help beyond this article, find a program that is right for you. The most important thing in any program is that it suits your lifestyle so you will do it. For right now, let’s concentrate on the main components of a six pack ab workout.
You should realize that no matter how much weight you lose no abs will be seen unless you increase those abs using a good workout plan. In the same way you work then rest your biceps or quads, you also have to work then rest your abdominals for them to grow. exercise them even more after the rest period. You have to do this in the correct sequence and frequency to get the best results.
Sequence
When you plan a workout program, you should plan to work the muscles that are most important to you first. So, if you want a six pack, do your abdominal exercises first to get the most out of your high energy level.
Frequency
Rest time depends on workout intensity – the higher the intensity the more rest is needed. Abs will only get big with a very intense workout, so you should do high intensity workouts only a few times a week. A day or two of rest in between intense workouts should be enough for growth and recouperation, so plan on doing only 2 – 4 ab workouts each week. All of your ab muscles – upper, lower and obliques – must be worked to get a six pack.
For more information on which body movements train each group of muscle, see Get Washboard Abs.
