People looking for muscle building techniques often wonder about which are the ideal muscle building techniques. However, the problem is that muscle building techniques are as varied as weight loss techniques and methods; hence different versions work for different people.

As each individual is unique, it’s impossible to find generalized muscle building techniques which suit all. Therefore, you need to forget about the methods used by other people and concentrate on the techniques which give you the results that you want.

As soon as you put together the perfect training regimen, you then have to stay consistent. Working out once a week is not going to get you anywhere. You have to be dedicated and motivated to lift at least three to four times a week if you want to build muscle.

There are several different muscle building techniques for each muscle depending on what you are looking to achieve. The main three upper body muscles you will want to focus on include your shoulders, biceps and pectorals. However, there are many other muscles including your triceps and abdominal.

Generally most fitness enthusiasts work out in the gym to mainly develop their upper body muscles since that’s what really captures the attention of most people. However for a healthy body, you also need to focus on your lower body which can help you to develop strength and stamina. Leg exercises like lunges, calf raises and squats are quite useful in this aspect.

Regrettably, there is no method of building muscles which can be applied to everyone. Hence, rather than focusing on what other people are doing or looking at, you can actually research on the techniques which are the most effective for you. Once you find the methods that suit you the most, then you will actually see your body responding to the work outs. All you need to know is that there are a number of exercises and lifts which can be used for developing each individual muscle in your body.

Tired of the usual and boring abs exercises that don’t even produce results? This article is intended to help you find out how to get flat abs through using a workout that provides high intensity stabilization techniques. I like to give my readers better options for metabolism-boosting high intensity workouts that work their entire body while also working their abs.

I am going to present a great high intensity workout you can do to get ripped abs that don’t even directly point to straight up abs exercise at all. It’s in a tri-set format (similar to a super-set but alternating between 3 exercises).

Here goes:

1a. Renegade Dumbbell Rows

1b. Front Squats with Barbell

1c. Mountain Climbers on Floor

For each exercise, 3-4 sets of 8 reps would be a great rep scheme to follow.  You can also do more sets and less reps, 5 sets of 5 reps or something like that. For mountain climbers, your sets would be time intervals (every 30 seconds).

Renegade dumbbell rows are done starting in a pushup position with the hands on 2 dumbbells. You then row one dumbbell up while stabilizing your body with the other arm. Then bring the dumbbell back to the ground and do the other arm.  Be sure the whole time that you keep your body in a controlled manner and you are keeping form. So how does this work out my abs you may be asking?  The stabilizing effect during the rows it what creates work for your abdominals. Don’t think your abs are getting a workout, wait til you feel it in the morning!

Front squats as you most likely guessed it are just like back squats, only difference being that you are positioning the barbell in front of your body on the front of your shoulders rather than on the upper back. Set the barbell on your shoulders with your arms crossed and push your firsts into the bar against your shoulders, keeping your elbows out in front. This takes a little practice at first, so you will want to seek a professional trainer at your gym to help you with the form. Your abs are working through the extreme stabilization your body is going through as the weight shifts to the front of your body creating this strenuous stabilization strength effort. This is another exercise that you’ll be feeling in your abdominals area!

Just like the renegade dumbbells, mountain climbers have a starting position of a pushup.  You then shuffle the your feet in and out so that your knees come up to your chest and back out to the starting position. It gets its workout name due to the fact that it simulates climbing a mountain but you are flat on the floor. Mountain climbers is one of the best way to lose belly fat as it burns off body fat.

These are tri-sets so after doing an exercise, rest only for about 30 seconds, and then go on to the next one immediately. For the completion of each tri-set, rest for about 1-2 minutes before repeating the whole tri-set.

In spite of the fact that there are no direct abs exercises involved, this is one of the best abs exercises you can do. Do the workout and you’ll become believer too!

If you are tired of traditional ab exercises find out the best abs workout guide at RapidAbs.com!

Most people think when it comes to working out that your diet is important but not as important as your workout. Truth is what you eat before and after your workout is just as important as your workout yourself. This article is going to discuss 4 muscle building tips about workout meals to help you build the lean muscle you’re looking for.

1. High calories

One of the things that you must know when it comes to working out is that you must have a high caloric intake if you wish to grow. Now, I’m sure are aware of the amount of protein that is needed in your daily diet, and if you are then you also need to be aware of your calories. Depending on what shape you’re in now you need to take your bodyweight and multiply it by 10 and that’s how many calories you should take in everyday.

2. Multiple meals

Eating big meals all the time is something that people have a hard time getting rid of. One of things that are imperative for you to do is to make sure that you are eating small meals 6-7 times a day in order to continue to fuel your metabolism all throughout the day. Eating like that throughout the day also makes your body release insulin. It is good for your body to release that much insulin because insulin is the body’s most anabolic hormone.

3. Pre-Workout meals

The one thing that is hard to remember is that you need to eat certain things before your workout and certain things after your workout. When you take in carbohydrates you will want to remember to take in slow burning carbs before your workout, so that you are able to train harder and longer. Slow burning carbs can be found in pasta or rice, so those may be something you want to eat right before you go workout.

4. Post-Workout meal

Once you have completed your workout you are going to want to take in faster burning carbs and protein because your body is no longer training. Once you have completed your workout things like grilled chicken is a good source of protein which will help repair the microscopic muscle tears in your body faster.

Making sure you stay on a strict diet is just as important as working out yourself. With that said you are going to need to make sure that you talk to a nutritionist who can put you on a diet that is right for what you are looking to accomplish.

It’s necessary that you eat proper food following your workout sessions to compensate for the lost energy and nutrition. In order to speed up the results of your regular workout, choosing the right foods is essential. Workout recovery nutrition therefore, has to become an integral part of your daily workout regime.

The muscle tissue tends to break down after an intense workout session. To counter this, you should have an easily digestible meal immediately post workouts helping the muscles recover sooner than usual.

People often tend to skip the post-workout meal. This meal, however, is most important when it comes to recouping the muscles and achieving the desired results in the shortest period of time.

You should ensure that the meal contain proteins and carbohydrates in the ratio 1:3 to make it easily digestible. The nutrients are quickly absorbed into the body and the meal is easily digested. Such a post-workout meal should consist anywhere between 350 to 500 calories depending upon the individual. This is necessary for faster recovery and muscle building.

Normally, digesting fat is more difficult. So, be sure to avoid a fatty meal. Including fat in your post-workout meal will slow down the digestion and absorption processes. You need to be sure that this never happens. The meal should, therefore, be easily digestible, in order to rapidly induce muscle building. You’ll see, however, that muscle building burns more fat.

Here are some ingredients that you can include in your post-workout meal:

-Whey protein isolate – this is an easily digestible protein

-Pineapples

-Raisins

-Maple Syrup (Natural)

-Yogurt (Fat free or low fat)

-Frozen fruits

A smoothie can be a good post-workout meal. Use a blender to blend 2 frozen bananas and about ½ a cup of berries, along with some skimmed milk and a scoop of protein powder (any flavor), until smooth. Feel free to interchange the ingredients as per your convenience.

As an alternative to taking whole foods, you can take supplements after your post workout meal. This is because consuming whole foods immediately after an intensive workout session can sometimes be too heavy for some individuals. A sample post workout diet supplement is as follows:

Sugar – 50 grams

Whey Protein – 40 grams

Glutamine – 10 grams

Creatine – 5 grams

Arginine – 5 grams

Add about 32 ounces of water and mix all of the above together.

During your workout, keep sipping a bit of the mixture at regular intervals. Add another 16 ounces of water when you’re half way through your workout. This is to help pump more blood during your workout by increasing the body fluids, which add more volume to the blood.

People who don’t like to eat immediately after a workout can opt for the protein rich smoothie. The smoothie can be prepared and chilled for 40 to 45 minutes before consumption.

Since the post-workout meal serves a specific purpose – treating the body muscles soon after workout and helping them recover faster – it’s natural for you to have noticed ingredients that are otherwise uncommon in our regular meals. Although rich, this meal helps regain the lost energy but not add any additional calories since all that you consume is quickly absorbed to compensate the loss.

If not more, the post-workout meal is at least as important as any other regular meal of the day. When you skip this meal, you will delay muscle repair thereby, also delaying muscle growth. Post workout nutrition is, therefore, extremely essential to effective and safe body building.

Jillian Michaels is a very well known personal trainer.  With The Biggest Loser, her workouts have become sought after by many.  People see how she transforms people on the TV show and they want to have that for themselves.  When she came out with the Jillian Michaels Weight Loss Plan, we decided to review it in order to see if it lived up to the hype.

This plan does not reveal a secret to weight loss.  People who use this plan are not going to lose twenty pounds in two weeks.  Instead, it focuses on making life changes.  It tells you how to eat, and what kind of exercises you need to do in order to get to the weight you want.

It also focuses on dealing with triggers and other things that might cause you to gain weight.  It examines all factors of weight gain and loss.  Because of that, it is not designed for those who just want to take the weight off through diet and exercise.  People have to be willing to invest some extra time into the process.

We looked around and saw quite a few people who have used the plan.  What we discovered was the plan does work, but it is not a magic potion.  Those who want to lose weight with the plan are going to have to work hard and put the time in.  People also have to be willing to deal with emotional issues and triggers that cannot be solved at the gym.

This is an effective plan for those who want to have support with their weight loss, as well as those who are looking for a long term solution.  People who saw the best results were those who were looking to make real changes in their lives. You can also check out in-depth workout program reviews to help you decide if this program is right for you.

We were as excited as everyone when Craig Ballantyne from Fitness Magazine came out with his own workout program.  He is a fitness consultant for the magazine, respected in the fitness world, and his Turbulence Training program was popular right out of the gate.  We wanted to see if the program was worth the attention, so we did some research.

Turbulence Training is unlike other programs because it focuses on shorter workouts while offering strong results.  Power workouts are the key to the program, which leads to body toning.  The workouts are designed in a way that allows them to be shorter while still being effective.  Users only have to devote three days a week to exercise.

It was designed with power sports in mind.  The workouts offer the same benefits as power sports.  Because of that, it is supposed to be more fun and more effective. Unlike some programs that cause users to work so hard that it is not safe, this does not overwork users.

It was not difficult for us to find people who had taken part in the program.  We were also able to find a wide variety of people who had successfully used the program.  In fact, we found most people were able to lose weight and gain muscle if they followed the plan as recommended.

We reckon the system is a good solution for those who need to lose fat in their stomach area.  In addition, the program is designed for males and females.  Users are able to regulate the amount of muscle they put on with the plan.

We feel confident in the benefits of the program. The program does not take up a lot of time, but it can be an effective tool for weight loss and muscle gain. You can also check out in-depth review of Turbulence Training to help you decide if this weight loss plan is right for you.
