If you have found yourself going through the pain of a break up recently then you may well fall into one of the next two categories, either a) you want to get over them and move on with your life or b) You are searching for ways to get them back. If you are unsure then take a bit of time out to reflect on how things are at present without them and what they will be without them in the future and also what the past would have been like in the past without them.

You need to be crystal clear in your mind on what you want before going any further. Apologising for any previous wrong doings would be an excellent start if you do want them back. In all likelihood they didn’t mean to hurt you so much or at all and they may simply be unable to bring themselves to say sorry to you. If you want them back accept what happened and forgive them,  that does not mean forgetting just forgiving.

Old wounds might become opened once more and the problems would start all over again and this time they would be even more hard to get around. If however you had forgiven them originally then you can save yourself a great deal of trouble in the long run.
